Washington – Certain types of blankets, robes and infant bedding are among the items that could get a 12-month pass on China tariffs.

In a member for Home Fashion Products Association (HFPA), legal counsel Robert Leo noted that  the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) has issued a notice soliciting comments on extensions for the most recent List 4A exclusions.

USTR will evaluate possible 12-month extensions of exclusions from the China Section 301 additional tariffs extension on a case-by-case basis. Comments may be submitted between July 15 and August 14, 2020.

A list of the products under consideration can be found here.
